Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro X 2023 Review
Yoga (YOG) has been a Lenovo brand for over ten years now, with a range of convertible laptops and classic notebooks available. These are characterized by a slim design and a high level of hardware.
Lenovo has adapted its Yoga range for 2022, introducing the latest model in the form of the Yoga Slim 7i Pro X 2023. This 14-inch laptop is a step up from previous models, with an updated chassis and larger display.
The display is 14.5-inches, with a 3K resolution and IPS technology that supports Nvidia G-Sync technology. It’s tuned to a 120Hz refresh rate and offers peak brightness of 400 nits. It covers 100% of sRGB colour space and offers a 16:10 aspect ratio.
While it’s not as sharp and punchy as an OLED screen on the Dell XPS 13 or Mini LED on the Apple MacBook Pro, it’s still good enough for most everyday use. The resolution of this screen makes it a good choice for media and video work, while the IPS tech delivers a bright picture, especially if you’re viewing outdoors.
This is a laptop that’s built for creative professionals who need to carry their tools on the go. There’s a full-power Intel Core i7-12700H processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics on board, plus Nvidia Studio validated software that optimises creator apps to work better with this hardware.
It also features a full-size trackpad, which is the biggest on this size of laptop. Despite its huge size, it’s very smooth and tracks well.
