AGM Battery Definition
An AGM battery is a type of rechargeable battery that consists of lead and sulfuric acid. As the battery draws power, the sulfuric acid moves onto the lead plates, allowing a chemical reaction between the lead and paste on the plates. The process is reversed when the battery is charged.
