1995 Black Quarter
The 95 black quarter is an example of a modern American coin. Its obverse features a portrait of the first President of the United States, George Washington. The design features him wearing a long heave tied below the neck. The designer’s initials are emblazoned in relief on the truncation around the neck, as well as the inscription Liberty. Inscribed around the bottom is the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST”. The backside of the coin bears the mint mark.
